Week 31: It's time to Baby-proof...Baby on the Move

May 31, 2008

Marshall was on the move this week! He is so happy now that he is able to crawl and pull himself up! He is so busy! He is no longer fussy and frustrated now that he can finally get around! Before it would frustrate him so much that he couldn't move around, but now we need to baby proof our house because he is so happy to explore. With this new exploration, come more bumps and bruises - we had two incident report calls just this week because he was so busy pulling himself up and he's still a little unsteady.

We had also gone to visit his girls in Grapevine - The Baker Twins, but Mommy Forgot to take a picture! The Girls were so good, despite keeping their Mommy and Daddy up all night the night before. Marshall on the other hand is becoming very difficult to take in for sit-down meals. He makes the biggest mess on the floor! And he can't hold still for too long because he wants to romp around.

Marshall also just loves his pool. He is such a fearless boy. Bring him into the water - he tries to splash and "drink" the water. He thinks it is so much fun when Mommy spins him around in circles.
Marshall had fun playing with his cousin Caroline. It is just so precious watching them Talk, Coo and smile at each other.

Froggie Chair is so much fun to practice "cruising" on. It is also a nice place to sit back and relax with a warm bottle of milk.
Last bath time in the infant tub. It's too dangerous for him to stay in this tub since it is a constant battle to keep him in it. (Reminds me of his changing table - we can't keep him still so he has to get changed on the floor now.)
It's no fun to be separated from your friends behind the baby gate. They just gaze longingly at each other. Such a cruel Mommy to separate such close friends!
Marshall approves of Mommy's new haircut, but the long hair was a lot of fun to yank on...
