Well as you already know from previous postings, Marshall is a busy little boy. He just roams so quickly from room to room. He plays with his dogs, then us, then his toys. And just chatters all the while. He is quite the talker. He also likes to play "Up-Down." Where he will hold onto something and go from standing position to squatting to standing. It is really cute.

Everyday, Chris and I are noticing that he has a lot of his Mommy's personality. He is very laid back, talks a lot, is quite the little nerd-attracted to all things electronical, and seems to have a knack for figuring out how things work and associate with one another. If he does have my personality, based on the recent Myers-Briggs personality (http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes1.htm) test I took (which basically said I was like Napolean), the career path that we should groom him for is as a Judge, Engineer or Politician (that on top of being an Olympic Swimmer by 2028 and going to Harvard). Well kid, you've got a lot to live up to. :-)
It is pretty funny though there are somethings that Chris and I will do that just cracks him up. He thinks teeth are the funniest thing. If you give him a grin that shows all your teeth he will belly chuckle. He still (since 4-5 months old) thinks it is so funny if you "scare" him. He'll jump then chuckle and then crawl off laughing like he wants you to chase him. Then comes back to be scared again. He also thinks the dogs are just hilarious.
We also got a call this week from Marshall's Pediatrician, Dr. Baker, who had opened his practice in our area not long before Marshall was born. We have always felt like we were so fortunate that he moved to our area. He is really a great person and awesome doctor. We were so honored that he called to ask if Marshall would sit in on a photo session he was having to advertise his practice. Well Marshall was in the best mood before and after the photo session. Sadly he was very uncooperative during the actual shoot (I think the photographer wasn't into babies very much). So we'll see how this ad turns out. :-)
I know this blog has run a little long, but while we were waiting for his picture to be taken he was looking out the window at the plants and kept saying "DaDa." He is so perceptive, since he knows his Daddy loves to go outside and do gardening.
