Week 32: ABABA

June 8, 2008

Marshall really started to babble a lot this week. On Monday he kept calling be Ababa over and over again. Then it became Baba later in the week and we tried to get him to say Mama which he only did a couple of times.

On Tuesday he was all about Daddy though. He would have nothing to do with the Mama and would just babble and laugh at everything he did and said. It was cute because he said some form of "Dadee" during the week.

The rest of the week he was exploring other sounds and words, which he just mumbles incoherently as he goes about exploring and trying to stand.

His teachers are expecting Marshall to start walking in the coming weeks. He is now one of the mobile kids. He will try to play and climb with his friends at school. It is so cute watching them interact with each other. His teachers were also excited to see that he doesn't allow other kids bully him when they steal his toys. In the past he wouldn't really care, but now he will grab his toy back.

He also found where Mommy and Daddy put the wet doggies. He was so excited when he "found" them!

Talking and crawling - what a big boy! We need to let the kids hang out again soon. :)
