Week 34: Only Eight Months old??

June 23, 2008

Marshall had a very adventurous week 34. This little man certainly tests his boundaries. He just crawls from room to room without really needing us to be there with him. For example, Chris and I were on the floor playing with Marshall in his bedroom and he decided to just crawl into the gameroom, leaving us behind, to go play with his toy. Sometimes he'll also just crawl to Chloe's room or to the bedroom to go and play with some of his toys that he has left in those rooms.

Mr. Marshall also discovered the stairs this week. As you can see from the video, he is quite a natural (Sorry I took the video the wrong direction and can't turn it, so you'll have to turn your head to view it).

For the past few weeks Marshall has been tugging at his ears and we all thought he might have an earache or swimmers ear. So I had taken him to the doctor and his ears are just perfectly normal. This week I figured out what he is doing. When he is tired, he tries to cover his ears to block any noise.

Mr. Marshall is also quite the "Chatter-Box." He still enjoys saying and occasional "MaMa" but for the most part I am still"Ababa." He was also all about "DaDa" or "Dadee." I think it's funny because I call him "Marshall Poopa," and I have a little song that goes with it, sometime I hear him whispering "pooh-Pa" under his breath. There is also the occasional times where it sounds like he is mimicking what we say - Hi/Bye/Big Brother/Mimi. He also says full sentences of gibberish that I can hardly translate/recreate.

Bathtime with Molly giving him kisses.

Oh my goodness! He was making it up the stairs like he has done it a thousand times before!
